Born a chef, Victor Cornejo has been cooking from a very young age. He has his associates degree in culinary arts from the Culinary Institute of America. He joined the Cheesecake Factory as a line cook and was promoted to manager shortly thereafter. 

He spent 5 years as a kitchen manager with the Cheesecake Factory until he joined the Flat Penny as their Executive Chef.
